How To Fight 'Bad Ass' Bullies
If You See Something, Say + Do Something...Loudly + Proudly
Is it just me or does reading and watching the news lately feel like weāre being transported back to elementary schoolā¦in Germany, circa 1933?
ConOld Chumpās childish, fascist regime has turned America into a damn playground brawl, except now the bullies have armies, lawyers, and media machines instead of just spitballs and stolen lunch money. And just like back then, the only way to stop ābad assā bullies is to stand the hell up and not back down.
Growing up, I was one of the biggest and smartest kids in my classāa chubby geek, a teacherās pet, and a kid who genuinely loved learning (most of the time). I wasnāt the perfect little angel, but I always tried to be kind and get along with most folk.
But the "bad ass" bullies hated me. And the feeling was mutual.
Usually, they were the new kids. The ones trying to make a name for themselves by pushing others down. Some even tried to befriend me at first, probably because they thought I was an easy mark. Big mistake.
A few of my real friendsāthe ones who knew meātried to warn them: Don't fuck with Clint. But bullies don't listen. They mistook my kindness for weakness. They thought I would be too āniceā to fight back. Boy, were they wrongā¦.
For the record: Clint is niceā¦until heās not. Since I was a wee lad, thereās always been a ticking time bomb inside me. I may not start fights, but I definitely end them. By any and all means necessary. I donāt fight fair. I fight to win and wound.
Unfortunately for more than one "bad assā bully, they fucked around so hard they had to go to the school nurse or the local ER.
Iām not proud of my rage. I donāt celebrate it. But I do know itās effective in protecting me and those I love from assholes and bullies. It comes from a place of self-defense, not world domination.
FAST-FORWARD TO TODAY
ConOId Chump and his MAGA bullies are just grown-up versions of those elementary school assholes and bullies. They canāt go the fuck away fast enough for my taste.
They think they're tough.
They think they can push, shove, scream, steal, and lie their way into total power.
They mistake decency for weakness.
They mistake patience for cowardice.
They mistake respect for surrender.
Just like the bullies I grew up with.
And just like back then, they need to be shown ā loudly and proudly ā that we will not fucking take it.
See something? Say something.
Hear bullshit? Call it out.
See intimidation? Step up, speak out, and send for backup.
Bullies thrive when people stay quiet. They grow strong when fear silences the majority. But a bully confronted, loudly and without apology, almost always shows what they really are: insecure, pathetic little cowards looking for an easy win.
We canāt let them have it. Not in the halls of government. Not in the streets. Not in the voting booths. Not online. Not anywhere.
If the past few years have taught me anything, it's that silence is complete complicity. Niceness won't save us. Wishing it away won't work. You donāt have to throw punches to throw down. But you do have to show up.
History is written by those who fight back.
Be one of the loud ones. Be one of the proud ones.
Be a brick wall they canāt push over.
When the bullies come knocking, we donāt need to start fights.
We just need to finish them. Bricks, sticks, and stones optional.
Keep calm and kick bullyās asses!

āI'm a fat kid on the inside. I love food so much, and I fluctuate about 25 to 30 pounds between movies. I feel like I have to do a chess movie that requires very little movement at some point, just so I can eat pizza and play chess on the beach all day.ā
Channing Tatum
Bully for you Clint! Confront the cowards! Don't bother taking names.
Gore Vidal - A National Hero
I do wish I'd had more fight in me back when I was a kid... Even today I'm just more baffled by bullies than anything. Just, why? Good for you, C.
