Whether you're celebrating Easter, 420 Day, or something else, may the sun shine brightly on you and yours today and always.
I’m enjoying a glorious, low-key weekend here, full of Technicolor possibilities and promises. It’s the first time in over a year that I’ve worked ahead and taken two full days off in a row.
For me, spring is a season of small awakenings—buds bursting open, clear skies emerging, and a sense of optimistic hope that maybe—just maybe—the world is starting to shift in the right direction.
Slowly and surely, the audacity of hope is returning…despite oligarch gargoyles and grizzly gremlins doing their best to spread their toxic fertilizer on everything.
“Now I am filled with love and I sing a love song
A song for yesterday, today, tomorrow, and beyond
My new prayer is ‘Thank you, God, for setting me free’
And ‘Thank you, God, for giving me back me’”
Forever No More
Written by Mary J. Blige
Personally, I’m celebrating the weekend reading and recharging.
As I write this, I’m on the verge of finishing
’s heartfelt memoir about his big gay divorce. Yes, his big gay divorce. It’s a page-turner and reminds me of some of my favorite authors—including Augusten Burroughs—and favorite books—including Eat, Pray, Love.I highly recommend How To Burn A Rainbow…and congratulate Karl on publishing a book of such style and substance. Bravo, mate!
On a personal note, it’s a pleasure to reconnect with Mr. Dunn, who I met long ago and have crossed paths with several times over the past twenty years. I wish I had taken the time to get to know him better long ago.
Thanks to Karl’s harrowing story of love lost and love found, I feel like I know him a little better now and look forward to reading more of his work…especially here on Substack.
However you’re spending your “Sunday Fun Day,” I hope it’s filled with love and light.
Rise…and shine on!
Clint 🌈✌️
P.S. I will be back online and plan to post a new montage—or two—tomorrow. Thanks again for your patience and support!

”We can't let the past be forgotten.”
George Takei
“'Star Trek' fans totally accepted my sexual orientation. There are a great number of LGBT people across 'Star Trek' fandom. The show always appealed to people that were different - the geeks and the nerds, and the people who felt they were not quite a part of society, sometimes because they may have been gay or lesbian.”

Open your pretty petals, little flowers. Sprout your leaves, reach out with your boughs and twigs, mighty trees. Feel the sap rising. Take a deep breath, suck in the raindrops, bask in the sun, delve deeply with your roots and grow - strong, beautiful, vibrant. You fill me with joy and hope, my Substack brothers and sisters, friends and family.
It is good to learn that you have taken some time off, Clint. You deserve to relax a while.
