I think there are a lot of factors at play...both man made, Mother Nature made, and tech made. At least one of the fires was linked to a homeless man, but arsonists aren't just homeless. And also, I've witness power poles in all parts of the cities randomly "sparking" over the years. The infrastructure isn't maintained...and with the gale force winds that ripped through the other night, any spark would have set this dry timberbox aflames. Fingers crossed for continued calm winds, a light drizzle or fog too roll any--anything more would lead to mudslides--and for pyros to get arrested before they cause more harm. It's a sad, complicated situation from my pov.
