The DNC’s ridiculous need to try and address everyone’s problems and refusal to prioritize anything has always struck me as myopic. They end up looking weak and acting weaker. I’m all for trying to address as many issues as possible—mostly because I see them as systemically interconnected—but realize trying to make everyone happy means no one is happy and progress is damn near impossible. More independents needs to grow a set and make more ruckus to get more stuff done. Tired of this two “party” bs. Time for the circle (of jerks) to be broken…at least from my pov. :-)

Al Franken said the Republicans get together before campaign season and say, "Okay, we want to consolidate our power and get more money." The Democrats say,"Oh, wait, we can't proceed with our caucus; I think we do not have the Lesbian Innuit representative from Alaska." That is why the Democrat Party cannot get anywhere.

. Peace be with you, Clint.

I don’t disagree with you. I think both approaches suck. That’s why I’m left-leaning, humanist independent. I’m all for coalition building, but for fuck’s sake…get to work, Dems. And learn a few things from the “greed is good” types to win without feeling guilty for it. Sadly, I think both parties just enjoy bitching and moaning and doing very little public service. Sad.
