Wish I knew why this dude pissed me off so much. But he did. So I reflecting his ALL CAPS energy right back at. And he cowered like the keyboard coward he is. Grrrrβ¦mfers. Thanks for the support! :-)
Once upon a time I worked in public broadcasting. Each (snail) mail delivery, we'd quickly scan correspondence for those those addressed in ALL CAPS, and frequently in colour too (red crayon being a fave tool du jour)...
These letter writers were deemed 'maddies' & were set aside for 'careful treatment'.
We smiled slyly on the inside π
For what it's worth, we were making radio programs on latest scientific matters, and it was mid-80s.
So Clint, take heart, 'they've' always been out there! π±
Wow. I worked on some PBS productions in the early 90s and heard similar stories from the PR folks. Crayons? Wowβ¦people have more time than sense. I think Iβve written one βletter to the editor,β about 20/20 airing pieces about hatemonger Fred Phelps. They were critical, but I urged them to stop giving his fire and brimstone routine oxygen. And got a short but thoughtful reply back from a producer. They at least seemed to listen.
As for the βmaddies,β I welcome them to stfu. And will help them if they canβt figure out how to scroll on. Stupid people. :-p
While older and frailer than I ever hoped to be, I am glad to be here and ready to do my best to return us to a more civilized and loving blended society.
If you have any suggestions, William, for how I can support those efforts, please let me know. And wishing you a healthy and happy 2025β¦another year to to share your reasonable mind and generous heart with the world. Cheers!
Hollywood is all smoke and mirrors. Very underwhelming. As for Hollywood Forever Cemetaryβ¦itβs in a terrible neighborhood but is a truly beautiful, peaceful place. Not long after she passed, I was living in LA and dating a HUGE Golden Girls fan. So I took him to pay his respects. Before her final tombstone was even in place. She buried very close to Mel Blanc, the voice of Bug Bunny. Thanks for the video, Doug!
Oh, Dougβ¦Iβm not buying the βtv is smarterβ bs. Not from you, smartie pants. You knowβand rememberβmore stuff than Iβve ever known. As for the Smart TV, if you kindly email me the make and model your TV, Iβll see if I canβt figure out a simple way for you to watch SS on the big guy. Happy to helpβ¦youβre awesome. Mr. Horton? Not so much. :-p
I'll email you the info I have for your account. I want you to be able to login and enjoy. I don't see why a Smart TV wouldn't let you do that. Standby. :-)
PS Clint, appreciated you final response.
Big thumbs up for 'You are rude' ππΏπ

Blaming others for their own shortcomings π
Warm regards, Simon.
