I suspect I'll end up with the Meidas Mighties as the polls start to close around 7. I'm trying not to get sucked in before that -- I already have high blood pressure & any of us could write his script for the next few days.

What I'm hoping (& working) for is something so overwhelming that NO normal person could argue otherwise. His agents, militias, propaganda channels -- both TV & radio, & his dark money folks are hard at work even today claiming "abuse" before the results are announced. I've had 9 years of anger & angst -- I can hold off 7 or 8 more hours.

Meidas, Democracy Now, Copium, & a few others keep me sane. I'm certain they'll have a hard job doing so if this somehow drags out over a month. Marc Elias reminds me that our guys are out there fighting too. They're just not tooting their own horns like the other side does.

I am completely sure we will win today. I'm not so sanguine about Inauguration. As my Leader points out, "when we fight, we win!" I'm just keeping my eyes on the prize & will do whatever is asked to ensure she is sworn in.

So, gird your loins, guys, we still have some dark days ahead. Stay calm & fight back.

Thanks to you, Clint, for supplying us with a wonderful place to focus our thoughts when the stress threatens to overwhelm us!

Good luck to us & I hope I'll be dancing in the streets later!

Keep Calm and Kamala On! I’ve got a new montage exporting, so it should be up soon-ish. A little counter-programming to the bs. Sadly, I’m with you on the “what will they pull THIS time.” Such a set of sore losers. Even if they somehow win…Insurrectionists are always losers. And never patriots. No matter how many flag pins they wear or flags they hump. I said what I said. :-p

Cheers, Doug, and thank you for that. I’ve always loved that song, but had no idea the lead singer was so handsome. Baby Blues…swoon. Was a very popular song here when I was coming out. I wanna saw it was on a Sydney Mardi Gras mix CD too (art by Pierre et Gilles). I got to travel around that time a lot and just missed Mardi Gras but did score a copy of the CD set. Ahhhh…memories!
