Thanks Clint ,. In my favorite music folder are Linda Ronstadt - Willin'; Nina Simone - Sinnerman and To Love Somebody: Youtube's own Benniloco - Neptune City; Bush - Glycerine from Woodstock 99: Mike Nesmith - Joanne; The rest are all from opera: Jussi Bjorling - E Lucevan Le Stelle; Anna Netrebko - Quando M'en Vo: Ernesto Petti - Di Provenza: Montserrat Caballe - Casta Diva, and Raina Kabaivanska -Vissi D'arte. I used to include Offenbach's Barcarolle but gave it up after seeing a video of choirboys in Madrid singing about "a night of love"

Linda Ronstadt is one of my faves…I saw her in concert a couple of times as a youth and couldn’t believe how good she was live. Even better than the LPs. A rare talent! (Wish I knew more about opera…I’ve seen quite a few productions, but I struggle with lyrics in English, so I tend to focus on the visual. Alas, I greatly respect the talent and dedication that goes into opera. I’ve been lucky enough to visit friends backstage at LA Opera a few times. Good times!

Thanks Clint for giving me the idea to look into that folder. I ended up re-watching a clip that I've seen many times of a performance by Sondra Radvanovsky of Casta Diva at the Liceu in Barcelona. I'm even more convinced that it was staged for an audience of one, Montserrat Caballe. I sometimes get criticized for re-watching things that I've seen many times, but I often see different things in the save movie or clip.

Go, Steve! Anyone who criticizes how much (or little) I listen/watch something gets the boot from me. I have no patience for anyone policing me in any form or fashion. I just say, “NOPE.” :-p

Another for you guys to add to your personal playlists, a 20+minutes of LOUD rock, kick back, a couple beers/teas/coffees and swim in the mood. You'll thank me for it_____trust me. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴

Love. Part 2 is more my style, but I love me some Meat Loaf. I had the chance to meet him in the early 2000s and was quite delightful. "Just call me Meat," said Mr. Aday, as we were being introduced by a mutual friend. We're both from Dallas, so we ended up comparing notes on the last time we had visited. Good guy in my book...far too often underrated as an actor and singer. Thanks for the reminder, Doug!

Ohhh Clint, I don't have a Spotify account so sadly I can't play it but I can approve of some of the tracks you have on your playlist. However you know I have an elective taste in music which I have shared with you on SS links in the past. Hope you got rid of your rage from yesterday's posts 😎 Again it's been a corker of a day here, hopefully it'll last a bit longer 😁 Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
