Once upon a time, I briefly dated a cute ginger cub. While my type, he was not only āgeographically undesirableā but also vocally hated my taste in music. Oh. Well.
We were driving to a romantic dinnerāin my carāwhen he first shared his distaste. At first, I thought he was kidding. But quickly realized he was serious as a heart attack. I was much younger, but Iāve never had much patience for rudeness. So I canceled our reservations and dropped his rude ass off on my way home.
Saturday night may be alright for fighting, but I would rather Netflix/Spotify/YouTube and chill. Always have. Always will. Netflix, Spotify, and/or YouTube are optional.
Long story short: Aināt nobody got time for music snobs and their high-school antics.
I donāt claim to have the bestāor worstātaste in music. Itās music I like. No one else has to. But I enjoy sharing some of what I listen to becauseā¦sharing is caring.
In the last couple of months, Iāve returned to starting my day with musicā¦usually singing along as I work on and write the newsletter.
So this morning, I decided to share a work-in-progress playlist of songs I listen to A LOT. In and out of the shower. Usually daily.
Hope you enjoy at least some of the tracksā¦and share some of your faves.
I hope you sing AND dance today!

Good tracks! I especially love Aimee Mann.
Thanks Clint ,. In my favorite music folder are Linda Ronstadt - Willin'; Nina Simone - Sinnerman and To Love Somebody: Youtube's own Benniloco - Neptune City; Bush - Glycerine from Woodstock 99: Mike Nesmith - Joanne; The rest are all from opera: Jussi Bjorling - E Lucevan Le Stelle; Anna Netrebko - Quando M'en Vo: Ernesto Petti - Di Provenza: Montserrat Caballe - Casta Diva, and Raina Kabaivanska -Vissi D'arte. I used to include Offenbach's Barcarolle but gave it up after seeing a video of choirboys in Madrid singing about "a night of love"
