I totally agree and liked the quotes on creativity. Some people beleive (are they taught that by teachers or parents or both?) mthat there is right way to do things - systematic, follow the rules etc. This isn't true. There are many ways to do something - some more or less efficiently. Insights and discoveries emerge from accidents, dreams, playing around, experimentation.

Clint, that was inspiring. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with problems of being a homeowner.

I needed to step back and take a fresh look. Took me a LONG time to admit to myself that I am Gay altho have been "accused" of being Gay for quite awhile. Now I take pride in it and don't get down when someone says something about it. It's funny that "str8s" seem to be SO bothered by someone being Gay when it has zero effect on them. Probably overcompensation.

Regards,

Jerry

My hope is that str8 habit you mentioned will make it into DSM:

"Responding to information or an event as if it is your personal business and has a profound effect on you when in reality neither is the case"

I have a half dozen new disorders I'd like to see in DSM....

I know it's a cliché but it's worth repeating: Kinsey Zeros and Ones are not interested in what we do in bed. If you're all concerned, you're at least a two.

Why thank you, Jerry. Appreciate the kind words and sharing your experience. While I came out young-ish (21-22), I don't think there's a "best" time. We gays do it on our own days and ways as they like to says. (Yes, I'm the dad-joke, rhyming kinda gay sometimes. lol)

I don't worry about str8s...but some of my best friends are str8 (mostly women). They're lovely allies. And I know a few guys who are more that comfortable in their own sexuality and skin and find them adorable. Platonically of course.

As for overcompensation, they're probably just jealous you own a home. That's a problem most will never have. Congrats and good luck!

Got a laugh and a kick out of "That's a problem most will never have." I feel most Gays are nicer than the run of the mill "str8". It's weird how many "str8s" have come onto me even those with a belly that precedes them by a foot. Not interested in casual sex so just ignore them.

Gotta (belly by a foot) laugh out of that myself. Sounds like my kinda guys, but I swore their kind off cuz I can't afford the therapy bill. Saving up for a house. lol
