Thanks, Clint. In Italian, pazzi means crazy, and was also the name of a pretty crazy Florentine family, Pozzi is a hole dug for a well or fountain. I had to examine the tassels on the ends of the red robe's belt more closely, just to be sure of what I was seeing.
