If everything goes as planned, I’ll be fast asleep when this post and newsletter go live. I may even be dreaming about the little black pug in the photo above. Sooo cuuute!!!
No morning hustle today. No bleary-eyed scrolling. No inbox refresh.
Just me, under the covers, blissfully ignoring the world for a few extra hours.
It feels deliciously rebellious to sleep in when the world seems to run on endless urgency. Looks like I’m officially a “delicious rebel,” y’all. Whatever that means.
Despite the headlines, most things in my little corner of the world are going well.

In the past few days, my YouTube channel crossed two milestones: 7M views and 19K subscribers. They’re small milestones compared to some of my favorite creators, but I don’t waste much time comparing myself to others. To me, this is huge news, and I’m celebrating every new view and subscriber. Woohoo!
By the way, thank you to all who’ve supported the channel…YOU ROCK!!!
In preparation for a lazy day ahead, I’ve stocked my cupboards and refrigerator and loaded some eBooks into my Kindle. Consider this your invitation to slow down too. Hit the snooze button, grab that book you’ve been meaning to start, or just enjoy a guilt-free nap. The news will still be there later. The dishes and emails can wait too.
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is…nothing. Or at least nothing that looks productive on the surface. Sleeping in is a quiet, gentle way to remind yourself that life is more than a series of alarms and obligations.
Keep calm, nap, and read on!
Clint 🌈✌️

Ok sleepy head here is a bit of LA history for ya. You probably knew it. Lots of 🌴 in one of my preferred Spanish Mediterranean resorts of Salou and a few years back the Palm weavil bug managed to come over from N Africa and many had to be sacrificed to stop the weavil. The authorities had to plant mature palms to fill in the gaps. Elche city near Alicante (Spain) is famous for it's Palm gardens/plantations and is a UNESCO world heritage site now. I'm a mind of useless information 😎😁😲 Cheers DougT 🇫🇴🇬🇧
