Like Mr. Rogers, I think both men were the real deal. Cut from very different cloths, they each brought some humanity and much-needed sweetness to tv. Maybe too sweet for some, but ultimately net positives for the human race in my book. (For the record, I didn't like Mr. Rogers as a kid. Anyone that obsessed with sweaters was up to no good. lol)
