Maybe it's time to find another venue (here?) for your creativity and give YouTube a limited amount of time & energy for the battle of 'nudity is not pornography'? There's a christian social nudist channel called Mudwalkers. The owner, Chris, sort of has two aims: One is to make clear that there's nothing in the bible against social nudity and the other is to convince YouTube that there's no reason to censor the male body. He's struck a balance that works for him. His uncensored vids are on Vemeo. Maybe worth a look?
But seriously... while YT clearly has many lessons to learn, your work is way more important.
If you ask me, YT seems determined to make the same mistake Tumblr made. Rather than take responsibility for solving its problems, Tumblr banned chose to ban anything beyond PG rated. And we all know how that turned out.
A belated thank you, Anton. I've been working to pivot (and stop being mad lol) that I thought had responded. Sincere apologies. YouTube is not interested in anyone's opinion. And definitely not creators. Despite calling it YouTube Partner Program, it's more program than partner...the see and treat creators as children and criminals. We're all guilty until they decide we're not. They act as Judge, Jury, Appeals Court, and Executioner. I am sick of it and determined to use it as a tool to make my work. Not the primary destination. It's taken me awhile to come to grips with how ridiculous they truly are. I look forward to their eventual tumble. (Although, until Automatic's ownership, Tumblr seems a lot closer to what I hear it was back in the day. Much more my speed...sometimes exceeding my speed limits even. Anything is better than Yahoo! Even Google...for now. lol)
