He sings beautifully. Not my favorite style of music, but well performed; and that is a beautiful room with other excellent musicians. I might seek more of his performances.
That’s awesome, Sam. His country is both classic country AND rock-n-roll in my book. Mixed with gospel, soul, and punk rock. Orville is one of my favorite “new” artists. Meaning I found out about him within a decade of his debut. lol
So does he, I think. If you happen to watch the podcast linked in the post, he talks about the evolution of the mask...how it keeps revealing more of his face. The masks will make for a great art exhibition some day. So fun and creative. He used to make them all himself. Now, he hands off the designs to someone else. I dig his style.
I've only been able to find one maskless photo of him so far...back when he was a drummer for a punk band. Country isn't his only love. He super talented. And handsome in my book too. :-)
I have recently developed a growing appreciation of & passion for Orville Peck. You are so correct, his authenticity is infectious. Bravo to you & him both 👍🏿😎
Thanks, Simon. I wish I had caught on to him earlier. But new music is hard for me…for some reason. Luckily, his sound is very familiar to me…and still unique and wonderful. Also, I adore seeing him on podcasts. He’s one of the best interviews—so natural and normal, even with the mask—I can imagine. He seems to be well-liked by all. Aspirational and inspirational!
Now Clint as a 🇫🇴🇬🇧 both names are unknown quantities to me. I do believe you're featured Orville in montages before but I've never heard of the other guy at all. Now for me personally I gave up listening/watching news and current affairs a long time ago. Yes I do know what's happening in the world but Fk it's so dammed depressing, wars, MAGA politics our own new government indecision to actually do anything in case they 'offend/woke' the status quo. So it goes on and on and on. There's always a good reason to bunker up in the Ivory Tower 😎 As a side remark we had a national favourite of our own Orville, but it was a ventriloquists doll of Orville the duck playing childishly, now that does remind me of an orange toned caveman, 😮 who's soon to enter everyone's life. So maybe, just maybe the Snake Oil salesman did do himself a favour after all. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
You're a caution, kind sir. But you've got a good memory. I have indeed featured a few photos of Orville Peck. Turns out he was a drummer in a punk band in a previous life. And is from South Africa! Cool dude. Worth your time. As for media circus and orange orangutans...nah, keep avoiding them like the plague. The just cause brain rot. Cheers!
Glad I’m not the only one who appreciates his soulful delivery and theatricality. If you’re gonna put on a show, PUT ON A SHOW! And boy does he. Cheers, Clay!

I really like Orville Peck. That voice is a killer! He's hot but I wonder how long he'll keep the mask thing going.

My first exposure to Peck. Fabulous voice and he know how to deliver a song.
