I woke up yesterday with such grand plans.
My to-do list? Checked and double-checked.
My intentions? Noble. My goals? Achievable.
Or so I thought. My body had different ideas.
Spring has officially sprung in Southern California, and with it, my allergies have returned with a vengeance. For me, seasonal sneezes and sniffles triggered can quickly spiral into upper respiratory infections—or worse.
So, I’ve been trying to listen to my body. But like Yoda famously said, there is no try.
Project Lite-Brite has me buzzing with excitement, leading me to burn the candle at both ends more than usual.
When I laid down for a quick disco nap before lunch, I had no idea it would turn into an afternoon nap, then an evening nap, and ultimately the longest night of sleep I’ve had in ages. A few to-dos got done in between, but mostly—between naps and snacks—I slept. And then slept and snacked some more.
Oops. I guess my body decided it needed a day (mostly) off.
The good news? I woke up feeling better. The bad news? My to-do list is backed up like the 405 at rush hour.
So today, I’m tackling what I can, taking some meds to encourage the congestion to hit the road and keep my allergies under control. I’m also open to taking more naps along the way today.
Oh, and there will be a new montage today too—because it's time for me to get back to posting regularly again. On Substack today and on YouTube tomorrow.
Thank YOU, Crew, for your continued patience and support while I’ve been getting my in-real-life world sorted out and restarted. You spin me round (like a record), baby.
Right round, right round….
Clint 🌈✌️
