"Nie mój cyrk. Nie moje małpy" I'm doing my best to take that attitude. The overall level of stridence, non-sequiturs, & 'unhingedness' just keeps rising. I've had to reduce the number of YT channels I watch to keep up with events in Ukraine. Some of the formerly laid back creators are now much more worked up as are their followers who comment. I swear the idiocy is getting worse. We're finishing up the third year of unprovoked Russian aggression it seems like most people still think we're sending money to Ukraine. I won't go into lecture mode but if aid to Ukraine stops tomorrow, thousands of people will lose their factory jobs here in the US. If I make a comment, more and more often now I get a scathing response that is only vaguely related to what I'd written. I find myself bothering less and less as time goes by.

Sometimes I wonder if Semmelweis Reflex, Fundamental Attribution Error, Belief Perseverance, & Dunning-Kruger have each become viral diseases that are spreading way faster than Covid did....

I am pleased to be updated on all you are doing to look after yourself. I back you up on all of it (as an individual who cares but also as an experienced ex-mental health professional).

I have never seen myself as a rat and I am not the energetic type to run races. I have ducked and dived my way past the participants in the rat race. I have always aimed to be my own best friend, greatest lover, and cared for myself equally (or more) than all the patients and people in the world that I care about. A lot of my comments to you are self-absorbed but, whether I love 100% of what you create or not, I support you unreservedly.

Thanks, Ray. Life has been a series of challenges and sometimes races for me. And I’ve worked for a few rats before. lol

So I’m working on being less reactive and less interested getting caught up in mousetraps. Cheers!

Hey Clint- You know, the older I get the more I realize how difficult it is to put something positive out in the world. That doesn't mean everybody has to like it but they do have to respect it. The people that don't- they can move on, 'cause we don't have time for their nonsense. Keep doin' what're doing brother, it's god's work.

Thank for the kind words, Mark. Appreciate you. Making the work is relatively easy. The photos and music always put a big smile on me. Occasionally some of the reactions...are tough. Most are wonderful though. The vast majority. It's always the vocal minority that does what it can to poo-poo anything they didn't they of or do. :-p

Clint 🫂🫂🫂 your noodling thoughts were spot on. I'm glad your now truly listening to your needs. BTW it's your circus you are the ringmaster so your in charge. If others don't like it they can go start their own circus and see it's not always a walk in the park AND you don't have to be apologetic about anything. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴

Thanks, Doug. I’m a sometimes slow learned. And definitely not trying to be apologetic. Just thoughtful and considerate. Of myself and others. Cheers and hope you’re doing good, my friend.

First of all, thank you! I grew up in a time when being out of the norm (being a gay little boy) was not OK. People didn't need to say a word.. I sensed it in their body language. Now I'm trying to let go of what other people think about me. It's a daily struggle. And it helps. I, too, live with depression, so I work to find gratitude wherever I can find it. I'm grateful for your content.

There will always be trolls. But I don't have to waste my energy on worrying about them. They're messed up. I hope they find a better way. Thanks again, Ringmaster!

Much apreciated, David. The phrase “hurt people hurt people” has been ringing in my ears lately. And I’m focused on healing instead of hurting (myself or others). It’s why I refuse to debate and prefer discussing to cussing. That said, I can totally be a reactionary sissy with a chip on my shoulder who was bullied as a kid and can be defensive to a fault. Human. Cheers!
