Great post. Media always try to push us into making "either/or" choices, usually false ones even on their face (I see it a lot on "X"). There's always, even philosophically, at LEAST one other reasonable choice one can make. Gotta think outside the bubble, and I'm happy to note that you do.

"The Speech" was unnecessarily polarizing in an already polarized situation, even for those who appreciated some of the points OM (orange man) was trying to make. The trouble with karma payback for ruler-type a-holes is the collateral damage it inflicts on we "little people." But I agree, something will break somewhere before too long. Don't have a prediction of what, though.
Thanks, Clarke. Appreciate your pov, especially knowing we likely don't agree on everything...and yet still manage to find common ground. Amazing how reasonable minds can differ without being disagreeable, ain't it?
Cheers and stay safe in this crazy world, kind sir!
Big money is scary no matter what politics they appear to espouse. Thinking of George Carlin and the "big club and you ain't in it" comment. Somehow I think your and my best interests are...incidental...to whatever the heck they're up to. Even if they do human being inside their bubbles.

I love (and miss) George Carlin. I can only imagine what he’d have to say about the current shitshow.
