Collide is an excellent 2nd name as it expresses that you (and we) are on a collision course with life. We get knocked down and somehow get back up and move on...to the next collision and the next. It's a very hopeful and generous thing for you to have said what you have. I can surely relate!

Thanks, Clarke. I must admit Collide isn't my "real" name. But it was chosen with care. Wrote about it not that long ago, if you're curious: https://collidepress.substack.com/p/the-art-of-the-alias

As for this roller derby of life, it keeps rolling right round, baby, right round, like a record baby. Sometimes the record is full of scratches. Just like us. :-p

Oh, I gathered that. Thanks for the link, I'm reading with interest. Some of the best writers wrote under a nomme de plume (sp?). Um, Lewis Carroll anyone? (I learned to read through my oldest brother reading the "Alice" books to me over and over. Really irritated my primary school teachers.) Sometimes a record plays to the end and the needle is stuck on a circular track with static on repeat. Often one's circumstances feel a lot like that.

You made me Google! IтАЩm sure one of itтАЩs spellings includes some extra letters, but тАЬnom de plumeтАЭ is definitely a thing in the arts. Helps so many of us find our voices and play without everybody all up in our business. lol
