Interesting that some places won't discount. Here it either sells, gets donated to homeless shelters (where it's always used FAST), or ends up being thrown away...and much of California has restrictions about food waste so there's an extra incentive to move those groceries. Most stores have sections of discounted items. Esepcially the meat section. There are also a number of discount chains like "Grocery Outlet" or "Big Lots" that sell these kinds of products...always good to check the dates though. :-p
