COOKIE, COOKIE! LEND ME YOUR COMB!

WOW! 77 Sunset Strip was my very first television memory! Seeing the 3 of them in the convertible brought back amazing memories. (Interestingly, my writing algorithm knew the show & character as well).

As much as I despise John Wayne, his juxtaposition with Jon King MORE than made up for it!

Hahaha…I’m with you (and Public Enemy): Fuck John Wayne. But I do love some of his early photos. I suspect he got hit on so much—or did thing on his way to the top—he didn’t enjoy, so became a crusty ole bastard. :-p

At least half of these men are unknown to me - some are handsome. As you might expect from me, I liked the casual affection between the men in a few of the photos. "Masculinity" has a social construct element to it, which tries to persuade me against my will of how to judge men and also myself. Not like it. Every male is his own valid example of masculinity.

Although I’m not the biggest fan of the clean-shaven look, Chris Evans with Aaron Taylor-Johnson at 7:11 fits the bill for “intoxicating”😍

The "Coop" was too handsome for his own good. Those spotlights of his are hard to overlook, too. Thanks for these. Some I knew of, some not so much. Nice work, with the contemplative piano accompaniment.

Yuppers Clint, some truly masculine blokes my POV of course. Gabrielle Basso vies with Steve McQueen as the ones who could have rocked my boat 😜😎✔️ Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
