I wonder how impressed John Singer Sargent was with the fact that he carried the names of two of the most respected manufacturers of precision equipment: Singer machines and Sargent door locks. His version of precision was the fine bristles in oil, I suppose.
I have a feeling JSS was a hoot and a holler…the little I’ve read about him makes him sound like both a talented artist and a messy, messy man. I love the duality personally. Seems like led a fun life!
Clint 💩 happens 😮 I blame getting to a Stately age BUT I refuse to make out a shopping list, that's giving into it and forget to making a To Do list, 😎 Cheers DougT

Story of my life!
We all have 'em Clint! (The Sargent quotes are hilarious.)
