Thanks Clint. Love the Groff/Tovey portrait. Watching Dark Shadows from the very beginning, a year before Barnabas rose. Great to see Louis Edmonds and Joel Crothers.
The Young and Restless Life of William J Bell is a favorite book, by his wife Lee Phillip. She was on TV news here for decades, but now I remember her for Wilson Bethel doing a handstand for her at an outdoor gathering.
Talking about musicals, here are 2 I prepared earlier and a gritty early 60's interpretation of how we lived 'in the dark ages' guess you could think Detroit, or Pennsylvania industrial grimness and attitudes 😮
I agree with your approach to 'down putters', people who try to make you look bad in front of others. MY only experience with this was when I was yelled at in front of fellow workers for emailing something that was a bit odd that my boss had done. I resigned a couple weeks later. It later turned out that my boss had been illegally approving agreements with a contractor, both of which were discovered a couple months after I left. He was 'transferred' to a different division, the contractor went out of business and the unit he directed was shut down.
Sadly, it sounds too familiar. I once resigned before I punched a boss in the face. He loved to yell at people in his office with the door closed. Mostly his female employees. He did other shit to annoy me, including embezzling from the company. And was setting me up to be fired, so I beat him to the chase. Some folks thought I was nuts--it was a good job--but I refuse to play games with assholes. And he definitely was one. As were those above him...who went down in flames when it was eventually revealed he was in fact stealing from the company. If only they had investigated instead of calling me a liar. Oh. Well. The whole division went out of business a few years later. Life went on. :-p

Love light health and strong backs to all.
Thanks for the book recommendation, Steve. I was a big Y&R fan as a kid, so would likely enjoy that book. CHEERS!
