Great piece Clint!

I was a baby when Culture Club originally broke up, but my brother was a fan so I knew of Boy George.

The first second hand vinyl records I bought were Culture Club's first two albums. Been a fan ever since.

Boy George was on fire in this interview, what a gem you've handed us here, Clint. Thank you (❣️) I was 14 when this interview happened, and Boy George and Prince were both larger-than-life figures for me at that time. I was trying to walk the razor's edge of androgyny back then, drawing influence from figures like those two. There were so few models off the binary in those days.

Thank you, Phil Donohue (Mr. Marlo Thomas) for being so cool... When George was on Carson, Johnny was a fucking asshole...

Now reading Dear Papa, The Letters of Patrick and Ernest Hemingway
