I'm not a creator. Just comments from time to time. And even there I am censored if not oh so sanitized. I sense a gynocentric/female chauvinist bias, as some comments are truly...weii...bitchy.
Anyway, I am not satisfied to simply vent. Transformation. People listen more if our language is gently respectful. Too bad the naked male form invites censure
Thanks, Carlo. The corporate censorship at YouTube is kinda dumb. As creators, I feel we can limit whatever comments we want, but resent the platform doing it 'for" us. And obviously I struggle with anyone in their birthday suit being considered obscene. We're literally born this way. :-)
Much appreciated, Doug. I’m a stubborn mfer, so retreating is hard for me. But I know it’s for the best. In an effort to help my bottom line and business, I used the narration of this blog for a YouTube video to protest how the platform treats its content creators. I know it’s not just me. Tired of the fighting though, so gonna pause posting there going forward. Just trying to find a balance that works creatively, financially, and personally. Ya know…fun stuff! :-)
