Boy, you really stuck it to Zuck and I could not agree with you m ore heartily! In fact, with but a very few exceptions, virtually any billionaire is not worth a cent imo. None of them have hearts nor the ability to understand real people.
Zuck has been sticking it to everyone using his platforms for years. He’s overdue to get stuck/struck back. He’s such a stupid billionaire bitch. In my book anyway. 😎🥸
It is heartening to see there are actually people who see through the horseshit. Unfortunately, we are stuck with a dumbass who only cares about himself for the next four years, and I just pray that his ass kissers do not destroy too many things.
As for the billionaires who will be running the place, my prediction is that they will screw up and self destruct at some point hopefully before they destroy too much. One can hope, at least.
I suspect all of them are billionaires in theory online and the financial institutions backing them will eventually realize most of their "genius" and "success" are figments of everyone's imagination. Sadly, some people fail their way to the top and float so well you can't flush them down the drain. I mean, the orange one's bronzer keeps turning browner by the day. What a sad little man he is...hopefully the KKKool-Aid KKKlown Posse will realize he doesn't give af about them or anyone. Cults of personality are so very, very dangerous...and dumb. 🌈✌️
Uh, well, yeah, anybody who gets that rich and powerful did it by being ruthless and exploitative. Bill Gates is about the only one of that computer science mania bunch I have any respect for as a member of our society, and he presided over the addiction of the world to Windows operating systems. I understand he is now personally divorced from MicroSoft, which coincided with that company becoming completely amoral. We must acknowledge that Bill Gates established MSNBC while he was in power. He joined forces with Warren Buffett in the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which for various reasons speaks well of Bill and Melinda. They are now divorced legally, which I still do not understand.
. As for me, I still use Google's e-mail for my serious communication, and that is it; although I do sometimes get into discussions on YouTu.be's various comments pages. Collide Press on SubStack has the highest percentage of intelligent, emotionally mature commenters I have found yet. Peace be with you all.
Thank you, Sam. I too find Gates to be a better version of a billionaire, though he's far from perfect. Human like most of us...just with a lot more money. Sadly, he did at least associate with Jeffrey Epstein...which I think contributed to his split with Melinda. Once upon a time, i met him briefly while working on a project and I was impressed by his relative normalness in the midst of a very abnormal world. His handlers and security were a little scary, but he was kind and shy, but personable. Thank you for the thoughtful comment...you're awesome.
You are correct about these issues. A bit of FYI, I started dismantling my ex acct. a few days ago. I bought a service to delete everything. Yesterday I asked for my ex file download, to hand over to the delete service. My ex should be sending that file today. After the records are cleared, I will delete me ex. I will not trust my record to my ex. But more importantly, the outrage machine is a bigger problem, imo. I once said it was the extremists on the right, but now both sides are into the outrage instead of listening and empathy. It's now also 'You are all in with me or you are the enemy' on both extremes.
Cut them off. They are ruining discourse. Skies are bluer elsewhere, but take great care in who you follow, otherwise your feed could just become as bad as the ex's.
Good luck with you ex account. (I'm assuming that's your X account and not your ex's account? lol) As for follows, thanks to Bluesky's lists, I can curate what I want to see and when I want to see it. No more algorithms to lock me down, to make me fret, to make me frown. I got no strings on me! :-)
