Clint, Happy! I am happy to celebrate with the tastes and memories of holidays past with my Gregory. For a lot of the reasons you mentioned that made early family celebratons less than joyful. Now a days, I love myself and who I am. I love solitude. I love peace & quiet. Fondly, Michael
I'm another one who fairly hates holidays. Love the food, too (and who doesn't?), but that's about all. Too many calories, now that I'm not young. Family get-togethers were not quite as fraught as yours, but every bit as much "don't be who you are." I never knew Edward's info about holiday food at my bars existed. I always had to fly back home (on my dime) to "enjoy" time with my family. Guilt trip, much? Coffee. I want coffee. Preferably with friends. Maybe a turkey sandwich with insane amounts of mayo. A Reese cup, maybe. Bless you in this "fun" season. And enjoy your upcoming cruise.
I never thought to check out the local bars, but I love that idea. Years ago, me and an ex used to host holidays for all our fellow “orphan” friends. And encouraged them to bring their friends. It became a regular thing each year. So much food, so much merriment. I miss doing those. Maybe next year!
Happy American Thanksgiving Clint! Enjoy the Pie!!! (with whipped cream or ice cream)
Happy Birthday Tina Turner!!!
Like Ms. Turner, you’re “simply the best,” Larry. Don’t change a thing!
Thanks Clint and Tina Turner, simply the best 🏳️🌈🌈🖤🤎💜🎶😁🌹😱

Oh, Michael, you are loved…as is the memory of your dear Gregory. I’m thankful for you and your presence. Cheers!

Thank you, Clarke. I hope you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving the way you want to this year. Cheers to you and yours!
