Aaah, Clint. It's kinda sad saying goodbye to things that have served you so well -- that I certainly understand. New hardware + new software must be pretty exciting, too.

I decided many years ago, when I realized how quickly my education in tech became obsolete, what programs & apps and what hardware I was willing to stay on top of. Everything else can just pass me by. I don't need to feed Zuck or the apartheid nepobaby to get the gist of what they're up to -- it'll show up in my various feeds anyway.
Your career & livelihood requires you understand things that I never will -- and that's fine with me. I am extremely happy being a consumer of your "product," so to speak. One thing I can easily recognize is the pleasure you get from your creativity. As long as it remains a positive in your life, it does in ours as well!
As for the other, well, I'm still pushing it away when it pops into my brain. Some day I will need to make my peace with it -- but not today. I know I can't avoid reality forever. Sigh.
Anyhow, the point was to let you know I share in your excitement for your new toys & new way of doing things! Looking forward to seeing the results.
Thanks, Tom. I definitely don't keep up with the Joneses like I used to. Turns out I don't enjoy helping the ultra-wealthy get any wealthier. Whenever possible. Appreciate your kind words and I encourage everyone to use tech as little or as much as works for them. Pen and paper work for many, many people...and has for many, many years. I'm just a geek. What can I say? :-) Cheers!
