O, Clint! Had I known you were stopping in Eugene, where I live, this evening. Have a safe and sane trip on your way to Seattle. Thank you for the archival bring-backs as well as your daily Man Crush.
Hi, Fred! I ended up only making it as far as Ashland, but I would love to explore Eugene when I’m heading back to LA. If you’re interested in grabbing brunch or lunch, drop me a line at collidepress@gmail.com. Would great to meet you in person!
Ohhh Clint, sounds a doddle as compared to our 🇬🇧🏴 M(otorways) (your 🇺🇸 Interstate highways) driving shenanigans. We have very crowded Motorways, too many drivers up each others arse and on a lot of Motorways the emergency lanes have been converted into extra lanes to help with the traffic flow. However they do get you to your destination. Now thinking of your road trip, off interstate pull offs and a gothic mansions motel facilities harkens me back to Bates Motel, be careful of the shower in your room 😎😁😲🤢 Passing you an umbrella or two for those pesky light rain showers too ☂️☔🌂 Cheers DougT 🏴🇬🇧
Day 1! Driving slower and steadier is a good thing. Assume the night's stayover was clean and comfortable. You didn't mention any meals. On road trips, those always cause fear in me. SAFE TRAVELS. Fondly, Michael
I love California, but driving here has become very competitive. I don't understand why people are in such a hurry. It's the journey that I want to savor, not necessarily the destination. Stay safe out there, Clint. And enjoy the journey as much as you can.
Thank you, David! I made it to Seattle last night, safe and sound. Exhausted too. But I’ve decided to break up the trip into more manageable segments when I’m driving back in a few weeks. Hope you’re well, kind sir!

Thanks, Doug. No Bates Motels en route. And now that I’m here, I’m thrilled to not be moving anywhere for a bit. Cheers, my dears! :-*
