Yesterday, I launched a survey to help me create and curate content better tailored to YOU and your preferences, boo.
If you haven’t already, please take a minute to answer a short series of poll questions.
Based on early feedback, I’ve already decided to make some minor adjustments:
Blog + Newsletter = Will continue posting regularly, if not daily.
💌 Email = No changes. The morning newsletter stays the same.
🆓 Substack = Free for all, but posts will be paywalled after 14 days.
NSFW Montages = Will mostly be under 10 minutes going forward.
💌 Email = No changes. I plan to post new videos every day…or two.
🔒 Substack = Paywalled for paid subscribers. Free previews for all.
Pioneers + Pride - New posts will appear more regularly online.
💌 Email = No direct emails. Links in the newsletter.
🆓 Substack = Free for all…because LGBTQ history is worth sharing.
SFW Montages = Will be posted on Substack and/or YouTube.
💌 Email = No direct emails. Links in the newsletter.
🆓 Substack = Free for all, but posts will be paywalled after 14 days.
Based on other feedback and stats, I’ve also refreshed and updated the homepage layout and navigation on Substack.
That’s the latest—and greatest?—at Collide Press. For now.
Thanks for being here and/or queer, dear!

QUESTION OF THE DAY
What’s new with YOU, boo?
A NOTE ABOUT NSFW + SFW
A few have pointed out “NSFW” and “SFW” are subjective terms.
What’s “not safe for work” for me might be “safe for work” to you.
And lots of us haven’t worked in an actual office for years. If ever.
Like most abbreviations, these labels are intended as internet shorthand.
Since people, platforms, and credit card processors are super sensitive about nudity, sex, and/or sexuality, here’s how I think about what and where I post online:
Substack = NSFW + SFW = up to full-frontal nudity (since 12-30-24)
YouTube = SFW = no nudity or anything that might be “sexually gratifying”
Bluesky = SFW + NSFW = anything and everything goes, including porn
