Enjoy, Clint!!!! Do, eat, feel, BE what/who feels right for you in the moment. Life is not a solid steel track; it's an ocean. There's much to be discovered whatever direction you take. You'll 'know' whether it's right or wrong if you're paying even minimal attention. You'll know and correct course - IF you're paying attention. THAT'S the secret.

So, so true, Dennis. I’m paying more attention these days. My body is talking to me in ways I don’t remember it talking before. For better and worse. But I’m feeling good after the trip, so I think I’m finding a better balance for myself. And looking forward to being home and experiencing the ocean from the view of my studio apartment for a bit. Cheers to you!

Food is probably about love for you, dear. Safely make your way back home.

Yeah, I’m going to dig into my food affinity/addiction in therapy. First session is later in the week. Woot woot!

For many of us, food is comfort. It subdues tensions. It is a "reward". It can be a symbol of love and attention - self love or love from others.

Brian, I know all about the battle of the bulge. Now I don't overeat but I do snack graze and with being so imobile of late what I do consume is definitely a challenge to my top button waistline 😲 And there I rest my case. 😎 Cheers DougT 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

Top buttons are bitches. There, I said it. They are unforgiving assholes that make me at least feel bad about having a good time. With food and friends. Alas, I can’t win a fight with them (without destroying my pants), so I’m trying to get back on track. That cruise had free room service, 24 hours a day. Dangerous for those of us who do overeat. Oh. Well. Back to life…back to reality! Cheers to you, Dear Doug. 🌈✌️

YUMMMMM indeed. I literally had a dream about moving into Grits N’ Gravy last night. The owner didn’t like the idea at first, but eventually warmed up to it and me. Haven’t had Southern cooking that good since my grandmother passed when I was 8! I’ll be visiting again sooner than later. :-p

Clint,

How wonderful to be able to visit those grandmother memories. Fondly, Michael
