"Teachers", formal or informal, should be honoured and remembered. Tim Gunn isn't a name that I know.
I have already espoused my view that there is no separation between any of us. We are simply different manifestations of the one spiritual essence. So, for me, this is why we love others, help others, teach and inspire others, include others unconditionally and so on.
I think you and Mr. Gunn would get along famously! I also think you share many beliefs and points of view. Not surprisingly. Cheers and hope you’re healing, dear one!
I'm getting better. I nearly added "slowly" but healing isn't very fast anyway. My sister is a Reiki master and we are both into essential oils and homeopathy so I am supported by all of that. My next journey (four changes of train) is on Sunday to spend a week with my ex-partner and his husband. Thereafter I will see my 2 godsons, their kids and wives for another week. Looking forward to this (not the journeys). They love me and will look after me.
Thanks Clint and Tim Gunn and Happy Birthday Robert Fuller. Fuller was very popular and was offered many roles, but he mostly wanted to play in Westerns, which were in decline.
Love Light Health Peace and Strength to you Clint, and all your followers.
Thanks for the history lesson, Steve. I must admit I’m not always familiar with the histories of people I feature. Many are names I’m familiar with and ones I intend to look into more. But we all know about “good intentions.” Or at least I do. 🤪
Heyas Clint his quote of: life isn't a solo act. That's his own POV of course, I see nothing wrong in a Solo Act, combined with an Ivory Tower. It's all each to his own and he's generalising to lump everyone together. I hope your getting better too now. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴🇬🇧
Dearest Doug…I think if you broaden your definition of what is/isn’t “solo” you and Mr. Gunn would be in total agreement.
I believe we all are, at our core, social animals (and beasts). Even those of us who prefer independent lives. We may keep to ourselves, but we still find ways to connect and share our worlds. Just look at our friendship.
Also, I think you will appreciate this other quote by him:
“There's nothing I like better than going to my apartment, closing the door, cooking my little dinner for one and just tuning out. My apartment really is my haven. It's a nest where I go to heal.”
Tim Gunn's a good 'un. 🖤🩵🤍💜
Agreed. As are you, kind sir! 🌈✌️

Sounds like you are in capable and loving hands, Ray. May you and yours enjoy your time together. And your journeys be smooth and stress-free.
