I kicked off my Studio Saturday early by making the artsy-fartsy finger-painting video above last night. I doubt it’ll be anyone’s cup of tea. Sometimes, you just gotta scratch those creative itches….

There’s something relaxing and therapeutic about digital finger-painting…especially before bed. Not sure why exactly, but I have my theories. Lately, it’s been helping me sleep better and has even led to some colorful, fun dreams.

The before-bed digital finger-painting also seems to have contributed to some sleepwalking. Haven’t done either since I was a kid. So maybe they’re related?

Everything has a side effect these days. Everything.

My good night’s sleep might also be due to the positive response to my first NSFW motion montage. I wasn’t sure how it’d be received, but seeing the enthusiasm has me excited to create and curate more.

After making over 365 photomontages in 2024, the prospect of making more motion montages—or clip compilations…because I love alliteration—feels like a new challenge and a new direction. And I’m here—and queer—for it!

I’m also looking forward to making more NSFW (and SFW) film and tv posts. While searching for found footage and photos, I regularly stumble across long-form videos that are too good not to share.

There’s so much art, beauty, and creativity out there.
I’m energized and inspired to find and spotlight more of it.

If the past week is any indication, 2025 is shaping up to be a creative, fun year.
