Thanks Clint and Jane Lynch. I grew up near Frank Lynch Buick in Chicago, an uncle of Jane's IIRC. I've met some of her relations over the years, all tall thin, and blonde. 🏳🌈🌈💚🤍🧡
How fun! I didn’t realize her family was kinda a big deal too. I once saw her at the Burbank airport and we were nearly the same height. She threw some quip at me, but all I remember was muttering “I love you” to her. To which she loudly and proudly ask, “You do know I’m gay too, right?” Love celebs with senses of humor. :-p
On the Rainbow Patrol front: you must be exhauseted by the packing to have left our beloved icon off of Arthur Laurents' name. Cheers and massive hugs to you.
Ohhhh Clint it's nearly upon you. I hope everything goes true to form and will be an enjoyable experience. When I moved into the Ivory Tower (to be) the departing Rapunzel (there's a reason I christened her that) was so stressed out due to us both moving out and in at the same time, I suggested I'll take her broom and sweep up as the removals company emptied rooms. Jeeperssssss what a response I got, suffice I stepped back and let her frazzle away 😎 I'll not bore you with any more of that sorry saga 😲 Cheers DougT 🇫🇴🇬🇧
Completely agree with the whole thing: moving is awful but the unpacking and arranging is fun. I resist the word "decorating" (my own internal homophobia, of course) because of characters like the decorator guy in a Doris Day film who paints the kitchen floor lilac. The scene makes me shudder. I have also enjoyed downsizing and minimizing--to an extent. Overall, it has been freeing for me. It is also interesting (and a bit distressing) that younger generations are so little interested in the collectible items of earlier times. So much of the stuff we cherish will end up in landfills, but lets's not worry about that today. We can enjoy it, can't we? Wishing you, Clint, a joyful process.
Thanks, Lee! My paternal grandmother was a bit of an Auntie Mame character, so I started decorating early and often. And if anyone had a problem with it, they had to take it up with her. I pity any fool that did. :-p
My husband used to say, "trust the process" every time we moved. Change for me can be fun, but that doesn't mean it isn't stressful. Safe and Happy Journey.
How very exciting!!! Best Wishes!
Much appreciated, Larry. All the best to you and yours too. Cheers!
Yes, moving is stressful. But creating a new environment for yourself can also be fun and rewarding. Enoy the ride, Clint!
Agreed totally. Thanks, D.C.!

I saw her on the news one year because she was at the opening of the Lyric Opera here that season. I don't know if she goes frequently.
Wishing you ease and a sense of humor for your move, Clint! 🤞🦄✨
Much appreciated, Keith. Cheers!
Bestest of wishes for tomorrow, dear Clint.

Thanks, Fred! As for exhaustion, I am, but that oversight is ridiculous. Thank you for the correction. :-*

But a lilac floor? Ewww…bad gay, bad. LOL

Thank you Donald (and hubby). I fully agree with that “trust the process” motto. It’s sane and smart. I will be one day too. Fingers crossed. :-p
Cheers to you and yours!
