I like sunrises. I like sunsets, too, but I often get a bitter sweet nostaligic sensation.

Clint, a fabulous morning sky capture, Bellisimo. There are times where I live that the approaching evening skies are in full pink/red. My lounge room looks to be bathed in their hues. I one time tried to capture and post it on here. At a point in my life (in Liverpool) I lived on a hill with the main road rising up it. The top of the hill when the sun was setting used to blind the up going traffic. Very atmospheric but deadly to drivers and pedestrians from sun blinded drivers. For generations there had been a high rise apartment block that shielded the road top. Progress happened and it was demolished, that's when the sun blinding started. 😏 natures revenge for upsetting the Apple cart. Cheers DougT 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

Thanks, Doug. I can think of a few of those kinds of streets here in LA. All the hills, mountains, and valleys…guess it comes with the territory. There’s one street, in an area called Echo Park, that’s infamous for the blinding sun right as you better stop…to prevent getting hit by oncoming traffic. Scary road. A friend was giving me a ride in his new car once and almost killed us both. I knew to avoid that neighborhood. Cheers! :-p
