UPDATE: As of 01-11-26, I’m back to writing (and posting) daily.
Frankly, I missed it too much. So I changed my mind. Again.
I have no idea how it’s already the first Monday of 2026. But here we are.
December threw a few delays and detours my way, the kind that forced me to slow down whether I wanted to or not. But now that that dust has settled and I’m feeling myself again, it’s officially time to get the COLLIDE PRESS party restarted.
I’m feeling good. I’m making montages again. And I’m thinking clearly enough to make plans for 2026. Today feels like the right moment to share what’s changing, what’s staying the same, and what you can expect from me going forward.
FEWER POSTS = MORE BREATHING ROOM
First things first: As I’ve mentioned before, I won’t be posting daily anymore.
That decision wasn’t made lightly, but it was made honestly.
Posting every day kept me productive, but not always healthy. Somewhere along the way, momentum started masquerading as obligation, and burnout started tapping me on the shoulder like an overly familiar acquaintance.
This year, I’m choosing sustainability over sheer volume.
I’ve built myself a realistic, repeatable schedule—one that allows me to show up consistently and gives my brain room to think “straight” (adjacent), rest, wander, and reset. There are intentional “down days” baked in, because creativity doesn’t thrive when it’s cornered.
Here’s how 2026 is shaping up:

Celebrating LGBTQ heroes and queer pioneers. And a look back (and forward) to what’s going on in my little creative universe.
MONDAYS
MONTAGE MONDAYS (Substack)
Posting a new exclusive montage video, created and shared with intention, allowing for less rush and more consistency.
WEDNESDAYS
WORDY WEDNESDAYS (Substack)
Writing about what’s going on in my inner and outer worlds. Essays, reflections, updates, and whatever else I feel like writing about.
FRIDAYS
FARRAGO FRIDAYS (YouTube)
Posting a new “confused mixture”—visual experiments, mood collages, and cinematic slideshows—that don’t fit neatly into a box. New experiments and formats will be in the mix, along with classic montages.
BEYOND POSTS = LET’S ZOOM-A-ZOOM
In addition to posts and videos, I’ll be hosting live Hangouts and Happy Hours via Zoom twice a month, starting next week.
These gatherings will be casual and conversational—part check-in, part creative salon, part “let’s all exhale together for a minute.” No pressure. No performance. Just authentic connection with like-minded folks.

Just to be clear, this new plan (and planning) isn’t part of any resolution. It’s my version of goal-setting and habit-building.
This going-forward plan leaves room to pursue my curiosity, find a better balance between work and play, and maybe even time to take on some new freelance work. It’s a schedule that excites me without exhausting me, supporting the work and the human being making it.
Thanks for sticking with me through the pauses, pivots, and plot twists. I’m looking forward to more of what we’re building…together.
