All of this resonates with my complementary approach to holistic health. I send my love to you and to Drew. I am not insomniac but I sleep lightly (more deeply perhapams now in my old age) but I usually wake up at 3.00 am for 30 minutes (Said to be a significant spiritual time).

Drew and I spent the day together yesterday and I shared that you’re visiting your nears and dears in the UK. He sends his best as do. 3am, huh? That explains why I typically wake up between 3 and 3:30am most days. Typically I’m able to go back to sleep, but if I’m not asleep by 4am, I tend to stay awake until I’m ready for a real nap later in the day. Cheers!

Spirit calling. Or perhaps a need for a pee. Why not both?

Hi Clint, rest easy tonight with sweet dreams! I take magnesium along with glycine. They seem to give me a deeper sleep, even if I still wake up from time to time. Take care with thanks!!!

Glycine huh? I’ll look into that. Thank you, Larry.

I'm going out to get me some high-absorption magnesium, STAT. Thank you. Also for Annie Lennox as gender-bending CEO from the future (YES). Hold your head up. Keep your head up (except when you manage those briefest snatches of sleep). 💤💤

Hope the magnesium helps you too, Keith. The past couple of nights haven’t been as good as the first, but they’re still better than most. I’m a fan. Cheers!

Annie Lennox is absolutely amazing and that album, With its accompanying videos was life changing for me too. I will be telling myself tonight that I have nothing to think about for the next 8 hours 😉. Take care.

Cheers, Tracey…hope your sweet dreams are many and relaxing!

Thanks Clint,. Libraries, soap operas and edibles are some of my favorite things. Happy Birthday Anita Hill, Delta Burke, and Kate Bush. I suppose Kate is best known for Running Up That Hill, but Placebo's Brian Molko gave the best performances of it IMO at Pukkelpop 2006 and 2008. 2008's performance was the best but is no longer available since they made the shorter 2006 performance into a music video. 🎹🎹🎹🎵🎵🎵🏳‍🌈🌈

It's funny because I just heard of the sleep benefits of magnesium earlier today! I think my husband needs to take it.

Clint Collide's avatar

Cool! When Drew mentioned it, I was skeptical, but based on one good night's sleep...I'm a believer. Here's the one he recommended to me: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BD0RT0

Wish your hubs good luck!

Thanks! I will mention this to him.

Hi, Lee. Healing is, I think, ahead of schedule. I’ve been needing lots more naps than usual. But the lip is less swollen by the day and bruising is fading. Feeling so much better. Thank you!
