You’re most welcome, Gino. I think the clarity and directness of your writing is just what a bunch of us need to hear and read right now. Especially. Keep up the great work!
Whew Clint, from your message title mentioning bittersweet I honestly thought your missive was going to be doom laden about solo adventuring. Dang I'm so glad to see it was sweet, truthfully and incisive. I think my brother and SIL were not that overwhelmed on their first cruise but they soon let it get into their landlubber bones. I'm still to be convinced cruising is my tass de te though 🤔 My dad was the salty sea dog (did his war service in the Royal Navy) and he would have got into it. He was of the type that 'if god had ment folks to fly he would've given us wings' Have a good disembarkation and road trip back to Pasadena. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴🇬🇧
Oh, I think you would do just fine on a cruise. You’re welcome to do as little or as much as you want. And the opportunities for chatting up fun strangers is endless. For me, a few have become friends. Hopefully long-term friends. Cheers!
Thank you, Fred, for the kind words and the correction. I’ve updated the photo. Could have sworn that was Ira without his glasses. But upon second looks, you are correct, kind sir. Cheers!
So glad you've had a good time. The image of you as a friendly ghost 👻 wafting around the ship with your cocktail 🍸 is a glorious image. I will bring that to mind whenever I need a smile 😊
Thank you for sharing my piece, Clint. Your support continues to inspire me to pursue this journey.

You found Bliss!!!
I did, Larry! And I know where she’ll be docked every Sunday through April, if I wanna go visit. I hope you find your version too, boo.

Thank YOU, Steve. I hope you know how much appreciate you. Cheers!

How lovely that your week was filled with wonder and serenity.
Clint, please note that the photo shown in Portrait + Quote is Ira's brother George.
Happy landings!
