Life is such a big adventure. Unlike the choo-choos it rarely runs on the tracks but jumps the tracks from time to time. There are many possible junctions for the guy in the junction box to shift his lever to change the points. Enjoy it. Feel the thrill of the changes and detours. We travel together then our paths diverge to maybe reconnect sometime in the future. Like the "little train who can" you are strong, you are brave but you are never ever alone on your journey. Toot toot! I thought I can. I know I can. Toot toot!

Toot toot to you too, dear Ray. There’s a family history—on my dad’s side—of loving trains. My grandmother loved reading me children’s books with trains and often said she was a female hobo. Knowing her, it might have been true. She liked to go and try new things. I’m ready to again too. A little work to get back to “normal” but I’m pretty sure I’m ahead of schedule and on the right track. Appreciate your sage pov and encouragement!

Good to know. A little coal on the fire, build up some steam and chuff chuff - off you go.

I miss steam trains (though we still have them in the UK providing weekend rides by fan groups that have bought steam trains and private rail tracks.

I like diesel-electric trains, too.

Taking some long train rides is on my bucket list. Sooner than later I suspect. There’s one line that goes up the West Coast of the US and I’ve heard it’s got some amazing views!
