Excellent shift, along with the physical move. Declutter. Sure you'll reclutter after your move but hopefully less so. You can also periodically declutter afain and again. (I moved to Thailand when I was 55 so I have some resonances with this move of yours. I will return to visit the UK again next week for the 10th time, but only to see my most nearest and dearest). You are in the hands of the universe, much more benign and caring than the world as we know it, particularly in the country in which you were born and live. Laizi (also Romanised as Lao Tzu) and Thoreau are caring for you, too.
Thank you, dear Ray. Your words of wisdom always put a smile on my face and warm-n-fuzzies in my heart. Cheers and safe travels! Hope the reunions with your nearest and dearest are wonderful.
Thanks Clint. Henry David Thoreau, and Topher Grace. 💋🌈🏳🌈
Memory of part of a song poem by a classmate around 1972ish in college: Gimme a Modigliani woman, all elongated and brown, and if she don't ask me no questions, I'll lay my money down./ Wanna massive Henry Moore figure, wanna flood through all her holes, wanna grab her big bronze silence, and beat our bodies into souls. Memories 🎹🎵 I wish I could remember more of that. ❓⁉😬
You and Thoreau are following the path of the sages (including notably the Taoist sages). Nobody ever claimed it was easy. My best wishes to you in this journey that never ends.
I commend you. It's a huge undertaking to purge the mementos and stuff we thought we needed... the next shiny things that we don't really need at all. You do inspire me.
How sweet of you, David. We’re all doing what we gotta do. My purging is slower than I’d like. The movers arrive Tuesday morning. Time to pick up my pace. :-p Cheers, dears!
So much love to you in this season! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, dear Ricky!
I enjoyed your post. Thank you
Why thank YOU, Donald. Appreciate your words of encouragement. Cheers!
