Clint, My workspace covers a 10' dining table. It used to be Gregory's space but after he died I took over. Ironically my actual working area is 3' x 18". The rest is filled with collections: free standing, in boxes, in bowls, hanging off the desk lamps. There is no room to spread out but since most of my creative work is done spontaneously in my head, what is there to spread? When I do need to spread out, I use the kitchen counter which is just a few steps away. I have for a long time now fantasized about living in a "small house". Probably will not bother trying to experience that but maybe renting one in which to stay while on vacation? Here is a "preview" link to a piece, which will be publised in the future, about an aparatment which I love to try. Of all the "small spaces" I have seen, this one impresses me the most. https://mhorvich.substack.com/p/c6a0a201-fcf2-4a97-b69f-f7310d5775b0

Fondly, Michael

Love that video, Michael! I’ve watched it many times. Wish I could afford to do a similar thing in my place. But I’m making it work on a budget. Very happy in my small space. Same for my new desk. It’s all working out great! I love that your usable work space is almost identical as mine. Cheers!
