Luckily Brian my main email does sort out the spam mails straight into a spam folder. I review the list and if I recognise the sender I push it into my inbox and deal with it in the usual way. Otherwise all the rest of those spam messages just get deleted. A few weeks ago I received an unsolicited text message purportedly from my bank about putting a temp freeze on my account as 'suspitious' activity for £xxyz amount, was noted and to ring the number on the message. Red flag immediately as I had not attempted any online purchases. Just contacted my bank. Transferred to the banks cyber fraud section and it was confirmed there was no issues with my account and the text message was a Phishing trip. If it sounds fishy then it's fishy 🤔 In the UK there is a 'new' scam with mobile (cell to you yanks) phones with Android. If you receive a mobile/cell call from an unknown number DONT say anything, let the caller speak first if they do. You answer and speak first it confirms to the caller/robot/AI that your number is live and your game to be scammed/spoofed. You do need to be on your toes these days. Cheers DougT 🏴🇬🇧
Ugh. I have my phone set to send all calls I don’t have in my contacts to voicemail. If I don’t know you or have your number, you can leave a message. I likely don’t need to return or take the call. Desperate times takes desperate measures. :-p

It can be a minefield with this mobile technology. A relatives daughter works in cyber security for a bank and apparently loves it. Cheers
