This is a very important topic. I am one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I like to think I’m kind and compassionate and would give whatever I could to help someone in need. HOWEVER, I absolutely detest bullies. If there’s anything that could get me to fight, it would be a bully. I have a transgender daughter and I keep saying, mess with her, and you’re gonna have to deal with me. The coming of Trump brought all the nut jobs out from under their rocks. Well, I think it’s time they go crawl back under those same rocks. Wadda ya say?
Keep it real, Papa Bear…protect your daughter! As for nut jobs and rocks, if they won’t go back under, I’m fully prepared to throw a box of rocks at them to encourage their return. Brian/Clint has zero patience for these fucks. I may get hurt or arrested one day for standing up to then, but I’m okay with that. I’m not rolling over without throwing some literal or proverbial punches. :-p (And thanks for sharing a bit of your family with us, Bob.)
I don't have a set response to bullies or those insulting me. It depends on many factors and how I "see" the situation, psychically.
In the past, I have often asked the person to repeat clearly what they have said but simultaneously engaging the potential "audience". "Would you mind repeating what you said, please. I don't think your audience were paying attention, when you were insulting a stranger without provocation."
Thanks, Doug…hope it’s a bit cooler and you’re able to enjoy a little of the sunshine outside. I’m currently writing from my backyard. Love sitting out here for as long as my bistro set is in the shade. Cheers!
Cheers Brian, I guess today is the hottest so far BUT it's due to get seasonal temps after the weekend. Trouble is it's like your recreational lakes over Havasu(?) etc everywhere is so tinder dry and drought too if we don't get rain soon. We Brits are weather obsessed 😆
Hehehe. I was equally surprised by the spelling and origin story. As for retirement, I can only imagine how hard it must be to leave those parts of your identity (and experience) behind. Me? I tend to drag all of mine around with me like souvenirs from my travels. Hugs back atcha, Fred!
Hahahaha. You clutch those pearls, gurrrrls! One thing I left out was the trio of young lesbians who stood by watching this shitshow. When he ran away, I noticed one of the girls pulling her hand out of her purse. She smiled as I realized she was about to pepper spray him. Love my sapphic sisters!

I am with you my friend.

I like your style, Uncle Ray. It suits you well….
Much love, light, and laughter!
Hilarity. Making someone become the victim of their own abuse in the eyes of the audience, without any insult from me, can be deliciously funny.
Uh huh…judging from his face, he didn’t have that on his daily bingo card. Oh. Well. I don’t know why bullies think they can get away with shit. :-p
Way to go Brian. Cheers DougT 🏴🇬🇧

Sounds…sticky. Yuck. May the heatwave chill soon, Dear Doug! 🥵☀️
Oops! Just clicked on the "just deserts" link. Very interesting!
I need to retire the theatre/lit teacher in me as much as I am retired!
Still more hugs to you.

Great for you, dear Clint!
Do know the bully may very well need to be left on a desert, but you certainly helped give him his just desserts.
Just sayin'.
Many hugs to you, dear man.
Thanks, Fred. I’d rather enjoy the desserts myself. And after that one vanished, I did. :-p Cheers, my dears!!!
Clint. You go gurl. Clutching ones pearls is so therapeutic. Fondly Michael
