A smart man gets my attention! Thanks Clint!

A pioneer who possibly was gay rather than a person who advanced the queer movement. I am saddened by the end of his life.

Whatever his sexual or romantic attractions, I think that he found them unnecessary distractions and unwanted complications of his intellectual and imaginative processes. He loved his friends more for their minds than their bodies, perhaps.

A little fey, a bit crazy, a genius. I hold him high in my estimation and honour him.

Whatever his preferences, I claim him as “family.” A little mystery is good for the soul.

Thanks Clint, Nikola, Richmond, and Marcel, who possibly inspired Clint À la recherche du temps perdu 🌈🏳‍🌈❤🤍💙

I wish I knew enough about Mr. Proust to consider him an inspiration. One of these days… Cheers, Steve!

🌈🏳‍🌈❤🤍💙 Proust went to school with Georges Bizet's handsome son, and that son's even more handsome cousin. He propositioned both of them at an early age, to have some fun together, but I don't think anything happened. 🌈🏳‍🌈❤🤍💙

Just a little earworm music in recognition of the launch of the Telstar communication satellite of 1962 you highlighted 😲😎 by the Shadows who were part of Cliff Richards history. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴🇬🇧

That’s a DEEP cut. A 1980s cover of a 1960s instrumental? What will the kids think of next? :-P Thanks for sharing, dear Doug!

And just another Shadows interpretation. The Shadows are primarily an instrumental band
