I keep promises. Many people do not know what I mean as a promise. I like people but I don't need their company or presence. I don't enjoy social gatherings and tend to avoid groups larger than 5 or 6 unless the group is emotionally important to me (wedding, celebrations, funerals, graduations). People who arrive late, postpone or don't turn up without good reason (obviously in my opinion) are dropped from my social circle.

No company that currently exists can be trusted at all, and they are all going to get even worse very soon. I re-subscribed for another year recently. Interesting take on parts of the country differences. I wonder where the Midwest would fall. One of my experiences in Mexico is that to refuse an invitation is rude, so you accept, and then just don't show up or follow through or cancel last minute! Now to me, that is RUDE! Fondly, Michael
