I saw Marcus D'Amico in rep in Birmingham, England, way back. I must have been in my 40s and he in his twenties. I sat close to the stage - as I usually preferred to do. He was beautiful, half-English and raised in England. I can't recall what play he was in. For many years I went to the theatre twice a week. I've seen so many plays.
Another little gay brother, dying so young of pneumonia.

I remember buying the Chronicle every day, just to read the latest installment of Tales of the City! Happy Birthday, Armistead!
That’s awesome, Ken! You’re an OG fan. Cheers and thanks for commenting…
I have liked his stories and characters very much. Mrs Madrigal and "Mouse" - but all of them.
He has created some wonderful, three-dimensional characters. Classic and contemporary all at the same time. Cheers, Uncle Ray!
