As an LGBTQ+ creative, most of my work can be considered at least partially political. Whether itās a montage of men kissing or an original painting of Adam & Steve in the Garden of Good & Evil.
Some of my work is explicitly political, intended to inspire action, provoke thought, and spark conversations about what I consider some of the most important issues of our time.
To those who prefer I āShut Up & Art,ā please donāt start. It wonāt end well.
Whether you agree, disagree, or find yourself somewhere in the middle, I would like to encourage everyone to find reasonable and respectful ways to voice your opinions and point-of-view. Myself included. I have plenty of room to improve.
Let's get political and be part of the solutions, not problems!

Idiocracy tried to warn us. But too many in America are willfully ignorant and seem determined to turn Mike Judge into a modern-day Nostradamus. He predicted the emergence of wrestlers, rock stars, reality show stars in politics. 2024 makes 2006 seems so peaceful and quaint.
Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? Some of those running for political office arenāt. Theyāre just loud and proudā¦of being dumb and making everyone else dumber.

As a letās-get-reasonable kinda gay, regardless of whoās saying it, I cringe when I see the word āwoke.ā Not because I donāt think there are those who are āwoke,ā but because I know itās an (over)reactionary word used by too many who donāt understand the history of the word.
Many consider my political beliefs to be āwoke,ā but Iām not one of them.
Iām AWAKE. Plain and simple. Hope you are too, boo.

Over the years, despite my centrist positions, extremists across the spectrum love to accuse me of being ātooā this or ānot enoughā that. Whatever.
But I do love making fun of CONservatives who think name-calling does anything but poke this bear. So I poke back. Like Batman, Iāll be the villain Gotham needs me to be.
