The internetāespecially the YouTube comments sectionāis like the Wild, Wild West: Itās full of the good, the bad, and the ugh-ly.
Every couple of months, Iām reminded how much the internet is run by basic bitches, contrarians, drama mamas, naysayers, and trolls who seem to live for stirring the pot.
Iāve got little to no patience for these bothersome bots and buttheads. And I make no apologies for regularly blocking them from accessing my channel and content.
Honestly, itās better for everyoneās mental health this wayāmine, yours, and theirs.
I donāt create my work to encourage people to argue and nitpick.
Iām hereāand queerāto celebrate our creativity, history, and humanity.
Iām not here to debate. And I am definitely not here to hate. Mostly.
Asshats do bring out the worst in me. They think Iām joking when I remind them to be kindā¦or rewind elsewhere. Iām not. My reminder is their one-and-only warning. If they keep fucking around, they will find out Iām not playing around.
There are plenty of places and platforms online where cruelty and snark are sports. Where assholery not only thrives, but gets rewarded.
So let me be very, very clear: Collide Press is not one of those places or platforms. Clint Collide is not interested in playing these high school games. Personally, I done graduated a long, long time ago. Hopefully, you did too. So enough with the childish gamesā¦letās act like grown-ups and treat each other with respect.
If you're here to celebrate the good stuffāconnection, community, and curiosity, for instanceāyouāre more than welcome to be part of the crew, boo. For those wanting to be a pain in my ass, I suggest exiting before getting ejected.
No hard feelings. Just firm boundaries.
Thank you for being a force of good on the internetā¦

P.S. Today is Motherās Day, an often complicated holiday for many of us LGBTQ folk. If you are celebrating with your mom today, please give her a hug for me. And if you are missing your mom todayālike I amāplease give yourself a hug. And if youād rather not deal with it or think about itā¦forget I even brought it up.
P.P.S. Yesterday, my YouTube channel crossed 17K subscribers and my Substack crossed 2.5K subscribersā¦both milestones are worth celebrating. So, for the next week, all new subscriptions are 20% off for the first year. Cheers!
COLLIDE PRESS is a reader-supported publication.

Thanks for making it clear that the naysayers and bums who enjoy putting others down (because they are bums themselves!)need to be told to go away. I had to put up with that horse*** while working, dealing with stuff said behind my back that others would tell they were saying about me. I finally learned to ignore what negative things are said about me and ignore those who were saying negative things. -Al
Thanks for the mention friends! ā¤ļøā¤ļø
