Twas just days before Christmas,
And all through the house…
Lots of creatures were stirring…
Maybe even a mouse?!
It’s hard to believe it’s almost Christmas. It’s also hard to believe how much there is to celebrate, observe, and remember today, “on this day,” a week before the big holiday.
December 18th is a pop culture goldmine, filled with birthdays and milestones across the spectrums of Creativity, History, and Masculinity.
Actors like Brad Pitt, whose charisma has defined decades of film. Artists like Paul Klee, whose colorful works continue to inspire generations. Filmmakers like Steven Spielberg, a storyteller who’s shaped the way we dream on screen. And countless other people and moments that deserve a moment of reflection as we soak up the season’s spirit.
But with so much to do—last-minute gifts, holiday prep, and trying to keep up with everything—I’m keeping this post short but sweet.
In the spirit of celebration, I posted a new montage early this morning I hope you enjoy.
McKay have been active on Instagram for years, sharing feel-good photos from their 14+ years of living, loving, and working together. Inspired, I reached out to ask if I could create a video using some of their moments. Thankfully, the gents graciously said yes!Let’s take a moment to raise a glass (or a hot chocolate) to the incredible people and moments that make “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” worth celebrating.
“Joy To The World” and “Peace On Earth” to you and yours!
Clint

Clint, tis the season I'm hunkering down in my Ivory Tower ready to raise up the drawbridge. Just a few more essentials to buy from the price by date reductions in food stores to stuff in my freezer 😎 However the merry go round will start on 27 December when the food stores reopen and bargains to be had on fresh foodstuffs that were not sold before their sell off date. Do you🇺🇸 do that too? hunt the date sell items, usually referred to as 'Yellow Label' shopping here, usually because the reduction stickers are Yellow 😁 The post Christmas store 'Sales' usually start on 27 December too and guess what by end of January Easter goods (Chocolate Easter Eggs) will be on the sales shelves 🥺 Two nations with a common language but not common ways I always think. Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
