• Scarlett Johansson’s OpenAI Feud Makes Her an Uncanny Folk Hero (Wired)

OpenAI's Mess With ScarJo's Voice (Business Insider)

Whether OpenAI used another actor or not, it doesn’t take a genius to understand the company’s “genius” CEO Sam Altman created a whole world of legal trouble by pursuing a voice so similar to ScarJo’s that some of her own friends were confused.

Obviously, Mr. Altman doesn’t know xit about cases like Midler v. Ford Motor Co.

I’m no lawyer, but OpenAI better have some good ones. I doubt this makes it to court. I also doubt Sam Altman, or anyone, is a genius. Though ScarJo does have a decent track record of using PR and the law to get her dollars. My vote’s with her on this one.
