I love the painting of Simon, Clint! Wonderful indeed! Thanks for sharing!

Enjoy your vacation break journey!

Out of curiosity, have you ever been to Vancouver, B.C., CA?

Clint Collide's avatar

Thanks, Larry. I loved making the Simon portrait. It’s SO him.

As for Vancouver, I’ve been there, but barely. Years ago, a guy I was dating invited me to go to Whistler for a gay event. The outdoor spa (in the snow) was fantastic. I would like to explore Vancouver more.

Clint, excited for you and your trip. Safe travels. Please don't get me a souvenir and don't send postcards. Just enjoy yourself. Fondly Michael.

Thank you, Michael. I’m a terrible gift giver and penpal. But I try. Will definitely have a great time. Cheers!

Clint, Meant it in a teasing way: gifts and post cards. Or did you get that? Fondly, Michael

Oh, I got it…and hope you got my silliness. When in doubt, I’m probably being a goofball or a smartass. Baby, I was born this way. :-p Cheers, dear Michael!

Clint, That is what I figured. Maybe just a little something? Fondly, Michael

Oh and Salou to Sitges THE 🌈 capital of Costa Dorada is easily done on the train. However most 🌈 travellers to Sitges fly into Barcelona (El Prat) airport and take the train South to Sitges and Salou etc. Cheers DougT

I know and like that journey. Enjoy!

Yuppers Ray the whole area of Costa Dorada/Alicante including the Balearic island's are my preferred go to area. A whole different culture class to the Costa del Sol. Almeria area also has a certain Vibe to it as well, more so around Vera and Vera Playa with its FKK influenced Naturist/Nudist communities. Then the Roquetas del Mar conurbations. Cheers DougT

Sounds fabulous. Stiges is on my bucket list. Fellow Substacker @Mr. Troy Ford and his husband live there. Ex-pats for the win!

Yup I've responded to the ExPats in the past.

Woot Woot Clint and a doggo named Simon. Enjoy the 3 whole weeks worth of mayhem. The town of Salou on the Spanish Costa Dorada hosts a Spanish/European Spring Break sometime late April/May. It's a student fest of...... merriment....let's leave it at that 😲😎 shall we!! Salou has its own direct(Ish) rail and motorway (interstate to you 🇺🇸) Salou also had an Airport (Reus) as well as fast transit to Barcelona airport and City. I'm a mind of useless information that I gladly pass on 😎 Cheers DougT 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

Also a big shoutout to 'Someone' for the 👍likes

Thanks, Doug! Salou sounds like parts of Florida here with its ties to Spring Break. I bet Salou is more fun. Mostly cuz I love Spaniards. Cheers and thanks for sharing all your useful information, mate. 🌈❤️
